Sticking to Knitting

For the last couple of weeks my time has been spent with the knit lap afghan made from Lion Brand Mandala. I started the third and last skein a couple of days ago. Here is how it looks now…

Of course, projects always take longer to make than I expect, lol. Maybe finished by Halloween??!!??

The pattern I’m using is from Plymouth yarns called textured boxes baby blanket – here is the link

I love the stitch pattern you’re using for it. It suits the stripes well. If you wouldn’t mind, could you tell me what it is or, if you already posted about it, direct me to your post that mentions the pattern. It looks like it might be waffle stitch, but not sure. Thank you!

yes! this is such a nice pattern! I am using a freebie from Plymouth yarns called textured boxes baby blanket – I am using size us 5 needles. sorry can’t figure out how to put a link in the comments but I did add one to the post.

Thank you so much! I have a skein of self-striping that would make a great scarf in that stitch pattern.
