My Goose Girl is Complete!

fandf complete 18apr2016

Last night (18 April 2016) I put in the last stitches on Feathers and Friends by Butternut Road.  I am absolutely thrilled with this finish!!  As far as I know, I made no modifications to the pattern and it is exactly as charted.  Fabric used is 35 count natural linen with DMC.

Just for fun … this is my progress photo from 17 April 2016.  As much as I dread putting in the back-stitching, the end result is well worth it.  Seriously, the back stitching was not that big of a deal.

When I get close to the end of a project I tend to get a little obsessed. This project was no exception. It took 46 days for me to stitch Feathers & Friends.

What next????

Thank you for your beautiful picture. I was given the pattern by my aunt, but no picture or cover. It’s great to finally know what the end result looks like.
