Stitching Goals 2012 — The End

My stitching goals are sometimes amusing, sometimes optimistic — in fact, they are more like a guideline to help me stay on task and motivated.

This is the list I prepared for myself in early December 2011, it didn’t seem all that optimistic — ha, ha!!

2012 Stitching Goals

Projects in progress:
St Basil’s needlepoint
TS Bear needlepoint stocking
Tish Celebration needlepoint (any progress counts!)
Christmas Potpourri BOM quilt
Knit bandages – on going (and very portable)

New projects:
HAED cross stitch On the Stove (nope, I don’t expect to finish it) started april
Christmas ornaments – 3 each – needlepoint, cross stitch, bead/sequin & felt/sequn
HeartStrings needlepoint The Carolers – complete 3 of the set
Lap Quilt – using only kit or fabrics already owned
Two full size quilts – using only kits or fabrics already owned

So far this year:

  • finished the Christmas Potpourri quilt top
  • finished one bandage
  • started On The Stove
  • finished baby/lap quilt
  • one face stitched on Tish Celebration,
  • the Bear stocking was swapped for a new start that is an IGC Nativity Stocking but no stitching
  • 3 cross stitch ornaments have been stitched
  • shabby chic quilt complete
  • a few pieces were completed that were not on my original list — TIAG The Quilters, Pineapple Bellpull, Snowflower Lace Sampler, Big Pumpkin-Little Pumpkin quilt, Fall Frolic small quilt – top pieced, not quilted

The End

In the unlikely event of another completed project in 2012, I will update the list.  But…. with Thanksgiving around the corner, two birthdays, Christmas and New Years…..  ha! ha!
