This week has been pretty scattered without much progress on anything.
Of course, that being said — I did finish reading the Fellowship of the Ring and have started The Two Towers. These books are amazing and am really surprised that I never read them before now.
The binding for the Big Pumpkin, Little Pumpkin is still not finished but since the quilt is rather small I hope to have it completed before the weekend is over and will post pics then.
My cross stitch projects the last couple of weeks have been varied. Two Heaven and Earth Designs projects — not much progress so no pics worthy to share. Maybe that is because I decided I needed to start a Told In the Garden piece – The Quilters – not much done but I’m so pleased that I have finally started a TIAG piece after being in love with the designs for 20+ years. The death of the designer, Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum, is a huge loss for the stitching community. It certainly gave me a jolt into action — stitching her fabulous pieces are now a top priority.
This is my start for TIAG’s The Quilters. I am stitching on 28 count Lambswool Jobelan, two over two using DMC floss.
