Almost June and Stitching Goals Revisited (again)

Tomorrow is the first of June and my 2012 stitching goals are seeing some progress.

This is the list I prepared for myself in early December

2012 Stitching Goals

Projects in progress:
St Basil’s needlepoint
IGC Nativity TS Bear needlepoint stocking – changed 21 may
Tish Celebration needlepoint (any progress counts!)
Christmas Potpourri BOM quilt  top completed 22 april
Knit bandages – on going (and very portable) completed one in february

New projects:
HAED cross stitch On the Stove (nope, I don’t expect to finish it) started april
Christmas ornaments – 3 each – needlepoint, cross stitch, bead/sequin & felt/sequin
HeartStrings needlepoint The Carolers – complete 3 of the set
Lap Quilt – using only kit or fabrics already owned quilt top completed may
Two full size quilts – using only kits or fabrics already owned partial credit started may

So far this year:

  • finished the Christmas Potpourri quilt top
  • finished one bandage
  • started On The Stove
  • am in the process of finishing a lap (aka baby) quilt
  • no progress on St Basil’s or Tish Celebration,
  • the Bear stocking was swapped for a new start that is an IGC Nativity Stocking
  • no ornaments have been made and the Carolers are calling me to get started
  • the shabby chic quilt top is in process

I have chosen to be extremely lenient with the scoring of my list — much more encouraging!!  It seems that I was distracted with the Pineapple Bell Pull and Seasons Winter  — it’s looking good…..
